I like this "bad thing, good thing" thing, so here we go.

Bad thing: I'm on an emotional rollercoaster at the moment, and it appears to be stuck in the hanging-upside-down-everybody-screaming position.
Good thing: There are lots of people who love me anyway.

Bad thing: The rain it raineth every day.
Good thing: In between, it's lovely and springy.

Bad thing: My garden never looks as good in real life as it does in my daydreams.
Good thing: My hippeastrum is doing the regal magnificence thing - it rocks.

Bad thing: The aftertaste from the cheese and onion crisps that came with my Trí-D sangwidge crouches at the back of my tongue.
Good thing: Only 20 minutes until Going Home Time - gotta love that public-sector job!

Until next time.

Wheeee!!!

Rejoice, for the mental mechanics arrived and freed whatever was blocked.

(On the emotional rollercoaster. Keep up, can't you?)

I went for tea with my mother after work (she was in town perusing microfilms of An Claidheamh Soluis in the National Library, and wanted me to help her translate a dedicatory poem from the First National Language), and after a bit my father showed up, and a good time was had by all, together with pleasant beverages. They were in great form, the two of them, which cheered me up enormously.

So it was a chilled and happy Radzer who got on the 16 bus and went home to a cordyline-free flowerbed (see [livejournal.com profile] glitzfrau's note on the subject) and a leisurely curry.

A bottle of wine shared with the same [livejournal.com profile] glitzfrau over Ros na Rún and assorted newseries has not hindered the process at all, mind you.
