Half a year
Feb. 22nd, 2005 09:57 pmOisín is six months old today! He has changed and enriched my life more thoroughly than I can attempt to describe in my current state of exhaustion. He's ... just ... the greatest. That's all.
( the cuteness of him )
He celebrated by (a) learning to roll from back to front, and (b) coming down with chicken pox. This latter circumstance is ... poxy, I suppose, but not an entirely bad thing, in that if he has to get it, it's best that he gets it good and early. The spots haven't really come out yet - it's just a rash at the moment - so it remains to be seen whether my sanguine outlook survives that development. Meanwhile, calamine lotion for the itching, Calpol for the fever, and LOTS of cuddling on general principles.
