Easily amused
Sep. 29th, 2004 02:45 pmI've discovered the perfect compromise between wanting to get on with reading my book and needing to amuse my son: I've been reading aloud to him. The book I happen to be reading is Georgette Heyer's The Quiet Gentleman, which allows for much hamming up and doing the different voices.
He also seems to like it when I chant "Hey, hey, Oisín J., how many beds did you spew in today?" (The answer, of course, is "one", but as it's mine, I feel entitled to protest.)
