radegundSorry for being so completely crap at posting here of late. NaNoWriMo has a lot to answer for. (Bizarrely, I'm almost keeping up - if I manage a bit of a Verbosity Drive over the next little while I might even make it...)
Since we last spoke, of course, I've turned 30. Thank you so much for your birthday wishes! I had a lovely day (nothing too eventful - just a small dinner party in the evening, but it was good) and got many cool presents.
Also, that morning was enlivened by the unexpected arrival of a book called Vámmentes Elbeszélések, which may or may not be Hungarian for "Stories Without Borders" (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kulfuldi?). This was accompanied by a compliments slip from the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest, and it contained - glory of glories - a story of mine. (This is on foot of an EU project undertaken by the Italians during their Presidency last year; the book came out in Italian first.) So now I've been translated into Hungarian! Glitzy, no?
Meanwhile, I took some photos for the photo meme (and intend to take the rest soon).
ainetl asked for "Oisín's toes or hands". Well, here's one hand, to be going on with.

kulfuldi asked for "Your kitchen table, not cleaned up for the occasion", to which I can only say, m' dear, that you know me too well...
Features include the aforementioned Hungarian tome on the near end; dead flowers in the big square vase (I never seem to be able to throw them out before they're manky!); my breakfast tray, complete with scary breast pump; empty Photoshop Elements box; random piles of paper. God, we're squalid.
And finally, not a photo meme request at all, but a gratuitous baby picture.
