Friday scatters
Jan. 14th, 2005 06:16 pmWell, I've survived my first full week back at work. I'm flattened but happy. And now I have the whole weekend to play with my son. Yay!
****************
I love my iPod even more now that I've taught it to sing Billy Bragg songs. Next up, Ani di Franco and Divine Comedy.
****************
The insulated container in which I transport my bottles of expressed milk has begun to smell exactly like the squat blue flask my mother used to put my school-lunch milk in. Sort of a madeleine moment, only less classy.
****************
I have joined the Want Boots brigade. Alas, the sales are coming to an end, and many of the ones I like are no longer available in my size. Clarks has a pair I might fall back on, but they're too short to look good with a skirt. There's a pair that might do in Next, but I'm impossibly conservative when it comes to footwear: I flatly refuse to venture into the realm of hurty-fall-apart. Does anyone know if Next shoes are any good?
