Happy new year!

We stayed in last night. Well, not quite: niallm took Oisín to my sister's party for a while, but they were home by 9:15. By midnight I was just out of the bath, and Fiachra woke up a couple of minutes later, so I lay feeding him back to sleep and listening to faraway carousings. I could just hear the Christ Church bells.

2009 will be a good year, I've decided.

I stayed in too. The man was ill and I didn't feel like doing anything anyway. I am SO happy to have my first new years day without a hangover for as long as I can remember!

Let's! That would be marvellous.

For instance: we're not at the stage of making definite plans yet, but I do have it in mind to escape Dublin for the crunch weeks of the extension project. Would a visit some time in the spring suit you?
