glitzfrau linked to me in her Friday Five post (it's friends only, so you may not see it), I reckon I'd better stick up a link to mine (it's in my other journal):
The oasis of chaos
Tonight I am broken, having spent most of the afternoon and evening assembling two pine shoe racks and staining them blue. They are to replace the one pine shoe rack that currently holds most of my shoes. The new ones are low enough to fit under the windowsill, which will make that whole corner of the room seem more spacious (or that's the idea anyway). The old one will get painted and move to the sun room (you'd have to see the room to understand why I always say its name with a degree of irony) to hold some of the miscellaneous gardening crap that unaccountably fails to stop accumulating.
