I aten't dead
May. 22nd, 2003 11:37 pmMy job is manic at the moment. I'm trying to follow the schedule I drew up in January for my entire year's work (cyclicality and predictability being core features of journal publishing, this isn't as crazy as it sounds), and it's almost happening the way it should be... Almost makes you busier than not-a-chance-in-hell.
So I'm chasing my tail and not updating my LJ. Such is life.
For the amusement of lit. crit. heads, here's an essay by one Chip Morningstar called How To Deconstruct Almost Anything: My Postmodern Adventure. I found it hilarious, and not nearly as dismissive as I feared at the beginning.
Meanwhile, my other journal has been augmented to the tune of one fluffy, unrigorous review of the book I most recently finished reading.
