Dubliners: where would you say a well-made pair of boot-cut blue jeans might be hanging out, waiting for me to buy it?

My last pair came from Penneys and cost (I think) €12. Perfect fit and style, but I've worn a hole in the arse and the overall look is beginning to be "tatty" rather than "aged". I think I'm prepared to spend a little more this time round - but for quality, not label...

So what's replacing it? (Tell me it's not that five-inch single turn-up that brings the trousers so flatteringly half way up one's calves...)

Nope. Skinny and tailored, like your new cream trews, or baggy, like stellanova's new faded jeans that trail on the ground. I'm with tailored, but baggy (straight leg) might do you.

Oh, I reckon I could do tailored, all right. As long as they weren't too snug around the thighs!
