Not sure where that last week went. I'm doing better at work than I feared. This time last year I was in a MAJOR funk: staring out window shivering was about all I was up to for much of the working day. This year, so far, is different. Not that I'm getting through my To Do lists, or anything, but it's a cheery, hopeful class of failure.

Spent much of the weekend sitting on my arse on our fat new sofa (new to us: cast-off from the bountiful mother-out-law, and soon the lingering scent of her tobacco habit will cease to waft quite so insistently from its generous curves) reading gardening magazines and contemplating heading outside for a spot of horticultural tidying ... but dozing off instead. Bliss.

I like a quiet January, I do.

Oh, and for good measure, 19.047619047619047% of me is a huge nerd! How about you?

Sorry: brain not functioning - I think I managed to say to myself, "have arranged to meet Nuala, therefore all my LJ meeting arrangement tasks are now complete; sigh of relief."

Anyway, let's make a more concrete plan closer to the time. You know where to find me. (I presume you'll be online while you're here - in the unthinkable circumstance that you're not, we'll sort out a specific ronday voo before you leave.)

This sounds like an excellent course of action. Looking forward to seeing you -- it's been, what, six, seven years? (How on Earth did we get old enough to know people as adults seven years ago?) Can I entrust to you any posse notification?

I'll bring glitzfrau along, of course, if she's free, but as for a more wide-ranging posse, I'm somewhat at a loss. I don't really know anyone from Those Days who's still in Dublin (before you ask, I am not going any where near J. The Knife)...

Well, I was thinking more in terms of LJ'ers than House Sixers -- perhaps stellanova would care to join us? (I assume you're also bringing this niallm person you keep making references to :) )
