radegundJust a quick one to say I'm feeling considerably better, and thanks so much to all who weighed in to tell me things would be OK.
Today I accidentally fulfilled a long-standing ambition: to eat at the Café Paradiso, in Cork, which is (deservedly, I can now aver) often named as Ireland's best vegetarian restaurant. I say "accidentally" because I was in Cork for a union meeting, and I didn't know until we actually showed up outside the restaurant that this was where we were being taken for lunch. (So I didn't even have to pay - which was extra good, because it isn't cheap.) And oh my god, it was GORGEOUS. Well worth missing the 15:00 train for.
