My inhabitant grows ever stronger. It can twitch my book through the duvet when I'm reading in bed, and it is developing the skill of poking me in several places at once. Its sphere of influence has increased, too - it now crowds my bladder to the south and my stomach to the north (and presumably all the rest in between, but that's not quite so noticeable).
I went to the doctor on Tuesday morning, and he assured me that all was well. The baby's heartbeat was as loud and frantic as ever, and my blood pressure remains on the low end of normal. When the doctor palpated my uterus he was able to tell me where the head and rump were.
He also uttered the dread words no pregnant woman wants to hear: "That's a big baby you've got!"
Anticipation of ouch. I do hope it's long rather than broad... :-)
