By the way, I've been meaning to reiterate that I'd love to meet up when you're over. I can do evenings (by which I mean 8-ish to 10-ish), except for Monday the 11th, or lunchtimes (by which I mean 1:30 to 2:30). Do please let me know once stuff has been arranged. Thanks - I'm pretty proud of my intellect, I have to say. Over the years I've come to appreciate other aspects of human character, though. An awful lot of Terribly Clever people turn out to be Terribly Stupid in certain situations :-)

i know what you mean - my oldest sister is very intelligent but she's always getting herself in trouble. lovely person but she just doesn't have any common sense.

but it seems to me that you're fairly grounded which imho is important combined with smarts.
