"Sorrow".
2. What does your middle name mean?
I have two. The first means either "kernel" or "fire". The second, as it happens, is Radegund. One Web source says this means "counselbattle", which is rather cool and mythic.
3. What does your last name mean?
Something along the lines of "daughter of the holly grove".
4. So what does your name mean when put together?
The daughter of the holly grove who sorrowfully counsels battle at the fire's kernel? "The kernel of sorrow is fire," counsels the battleweary daughter of the holly grove? The daughter of the holly grove, battle counsellor, with fire and tears in her heart?
5. What would you have been named if you were the opposite gender?
No idea.
6. Any other name oddities?
I was nearly given Radegund as a first name. I'm very attached to it and all, but that would have been pure cruelty!
