I have a question that I suspect a small number of you may be able to answer. I'm watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer at the moment (saw Enemies this evening ... um, yeah), and I want to find some decent plot analysis, commentary on continuity, etc. More specifically, what I really want is a Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5, only for Buffy.

I've done some Google searching. Results are sketchy, exhaustingly detailed and/or depressingly incoherent. So I turn to the all-seeing, all-knowing LJ. (Yes, stephencass, I am looking at you...) Any pointers?

Well there's television without pity, but that's based on episode by episode recaps and so might be too detailed for you. If you've been googling I guess you've already seen The Buffy Guide and rejected it. If you're looking for analysis and metacommentry, I think what you might be looking for is All Things Philosophical on BtVs AtS. Let me know if that's up your alley, if not I'll have another wander through my bookmarks...

The trouble with TWOP is they really hated the last 2 series. I don't think alll of their points were wrong, but it really colours the tone of the snark.

You could always post your comments here and let us sad addicts comment (except not me, because I'm not doing lj at the moment *grin*)

The other thing about TWOP is that the recappers have quite different personalities. Miss Alli and Jacob I love for example, but some of the other recappers, not so much. In particular when the HoYay! hits at least once every page, it can get very tedious.

This isn't what you were looking for, but font_of_nothing is commenting on the episodes as she re-watches them. I think she's on season 2 now.
