Thank you! I had lunch with my baby, her other parents and my smaller stepchild, and then sent the baby away and went to see a documentary about Enron at the cinema, which has most of the hallmarks of a good birthday, I'm sure you'll agree. Only we were disorganised about the cinema and ended up going by car when the cinema is actually showing a bicycle film festival and the railings outside were swarmed with bikes of all types. We loooooooooooose at radicalism.
But you win at birthdays! That sounds like a more or less ideal day. The trick is to stay radical even when you slip into the mainstream, and you manage that rather well :-)
