The lovely
niallm has sorted out the glitch that was stopping me from uploading images to our server, and so, without further ado, I bring you two ACTUAL PICTURES of the ACTUAL OYSTER ... and one by him. If you're very good, I might post some more soon :-)
They're wide, for which I apologise, but if I decide I need to smallify them for this post, it'll never get done.

The Oyster and his Mama on a peculiar sort of pedalled roundabout they had in a playground in Belfast in April.

This is just to show you how beautiful he is, really. It was taken in Connemara, also in April.
(Well. I never claimed they were up-to-date pictures, did I?)

This was taken with a mobile phone, so apologies for the quality. Sometimes Oisín does a drawing, then looks at it and decides what it is. He did this one after we got home from Reading in May, where
ailbhe and
rrc's trike made a big impression on him. He drew it, looked at it, and said "trike". I can see what he means. Can you?

Date: 2006-07-06 09:54 pm (UTC)b) It was great! Three seats with pedals, and three with just footrests, alternating and evenly spaced. Took quite a bit of effort to keep it moving while leaning forward to hold the Oyster, mind you.
c) Thank you!
d) I was pretty gobsmacked when I saw it. I'm fairly sure it was an identification after the fact - but I wish there was a way to know!
