My friend-the-obstetrician, on meeting me after long time no see, described himself as "still at the [Hospital Name], beavering away".

Knowing him, my guess is that it wasn't deliberate.

Not connected at all to your posting but I'd like to thank you for your comments about writing... made me feel infinitely better.. Good to connect with somebody who understands writing and getting there.. Being a parent is hard enough as it is.. I've befriended you.
