Cad atá ag tarlúint?!
Jan. 24th, 2005 08:21 pmSo I log in to LJ for the first time in a couple of days, and what do I get?
Up at the top of the welcome page:
Fáilte romhat, a radegund!
And in the main section of the page:
Faoi LiveJournal
Is éard atá ann i LiveJournal ná uirlis fhurasta (ach fíorchumasach) le haghaidh foilsóireachta pearsanta ("blogáil" nó "[we]b logging") arna bhunú ar chláracha saorchóid.
Tá sé saor in aisce bheith páirteach sa suíomh seo. Tá an rogha ann d'úsáideoirí a gcuntais a fheabhsú agus acmhainní eile a fháil.
An bhfuil níos mó eolais uait?
Le do thoil, léigh ár gcoimriú acmhainní. Áititheach? Cruthaigh do dhialann LiveJournal féin!
And over on the right:
"Máááááá", arsa Frank.
I'm now on the Iontráil Nua page, which I chose from under Dialann; I can instead go to options under Riar, Cuardaigh, Cabhair and Eolas. They haven't got it all translated, which makes for a patchwork of English and Irish (e.g. "Security: Poiblí", "Fonn reatha: Pleased"), just like when I were a lass.
This rocks :-)
[For those of you who, tragically, haven't learnt Irish, that's what the weird stuff above is. I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy that the LJ folks cared enough to translate their material into a language spoken by pretty much nobody who doesn't also speak English. I'm particularly happy that Frank now bleats in Irish. That's attention to detail, that is.]
